On Thursday, the 12th of April, the Austrian paper DIE PRESSE presented the new edition of the luxury real estate magazine Luxury Estate in the newly renovated Palais Sans-Souci in the 5th district. The guests (amongst them Arabella Kiesbauer, Reinhold Gmeinbauer, Sonja Klima and Peter Marschall) could have a look in the new edition while drinking selected wines, having an exquisite buffet and listening to the music of the Leroy Emmanuel Trio. When Mr. Peter Marschall was interviewed by the well known, Austrian magazine Gewinn (Profit) about selling luxury real estate and the situation of the current market in term of rising prices, he said this: Five years ago € 7.000/ m² (for city centre space) was a sensation. Austria’s most successful swimmer Markus Rogan was sold at auction to cross the Danube. Real estate expert Peter Marschall was the highest bidder at the charity event for ZUKI (Future for Kids in India) in May. Last Saturday the swimming through the Danube took place. The shipping traffic was stopped for an hour, security was prepared and Peter Marschall and other VIP guests started swimming. On the other side of the river a brunch and the press was waiting for the fearless. With this auctioned event the swim star and real estate expert Peter Marschall were able to raise another €10.000 for the charity organisation ZUKI. Continue reading

The major project Andermatt Swiss Alps is proceeding rapidly. Thanks to good weather, the three large construction sites, Hotel Chedi Andermatt, Podium and the golf course are partly ahead of plan. In Austria, Peter Marschall markets these properties – within the framework of the European Real Estate Network. In November 2011 the shell construction of the Hotel The Chedi Andermatt should be completed, until the end of 2011 a third of the altogether 46.000 square metres big Podium should also be completed – it forms the constructive Basis for the on-top construction of 42 apartment houses, 5 Hotels, restaurants and shops. The value of organisations such as EREN – the European Real Estate Network – and the international cooperation they foster – was proved again recently when Inmobiliaria Rimontgó of Valencia collaborated with Marschall Immobilien of Vienna to find a New York client a lovely city property in the Austrian capital. The fact that the couple in question work for the UN makes it all the more poignant.
When a New York City based couple working for the United Nations found out they were being transferred to the UN operation in Vienna, they started researching suitable properties and parts of town on the Internet.
